I have to admit that I don't like the re design of the museum.

It's another case of if a thing ain't broke, don't fix it.

That looks like the sort of place my father would have loved, if it had been a bit closer to home.

I kind of like it, and maybe that is to do with the bright fresh look of the museum.

I like it a lot. It is very popular, free (including entrance to the tall ship moored alongside on the Clyde.) These photos were taken in available daylight.

Smashing photos. Brings back memories of many a museum of childhood. But whatever is that first image - a lamp decoration, or what?

I was going to make a remark about Gordon the Big Engine, and then I moused over the image and saw the title and realised that you were way ahead of me :)

The top one is a double row of real bicycle on a real wall!

On a wall?

But... but... *squints*. *squints sideways* *falls over*

Okay. If you say so... :)

We have a dear friend (male) who at one stage took us to every aircraft, motorcycle, car, tank, ship, barge, and rail museum, not to mention modeller exhibitions, in the southern half of England (and there are an awful lot.) The result is a love of vehicles that sends us to such museums even when we aren't with him.
