Seen in May floating in large chunks on the Roding.

I think you're right, but what annoys me is that I used that site and it kept telling me that there were no May white flowering water plants!

And I told them it was actinomorphic!

I had to change it from still to river water before it found them.

Apparently my mistake was to say it was free-floating, but there it was, in the middle of the Roding, which is more than a foot deep at that point, even in this dry spring.

That makes me think of John Everett Millais' Ophelia. Beautiful.

It was very pretty. lapswood has equivalent piccies, I think, as he was with us at the time.
